Unlike many of the traditional DR service providers that
offer high cost monthly insurance policies stating that they
can get their client
environments enabled quickly from their inventory of servers
and infrastructure, Neovera takes a more realistic and lower
risk approach. We realize (as do many of our customers) that
most critical business applications today cannot be
constructed quickly from spare servers and be expected to
interoperate with the rest of a customer's complex
infrastructure.
Our hosted DR service assumes that a customer's core
business applications are running within a dedicated DR
environment. Either in a warm or hot site configuration.
Real time or near real time replication allows for the DR
site to be enabled in minutes/hours rather than days/weeks.
We first help you build it then we help you manage it.
We use a variety of technologies in architecting hosted DR
solutions for our customers. Remote access software such as
Citrix or Terminal Services allows customers to access their
core systems from any location. We also work
with numerous storage replication solutions ranging from the
higher-end hardware solutions such as EMC SRDF to lower-end
software driven solutions from partners including
Symantec (Veritas) and XOsoft.
Virtualization technology can be applied if appropriate to
help clients reduce their DR server footprint as well as
leverage their DR environment for alternate purposes.
Additionally, our architecture design generally provides for
partial DR site invocation if discrete portions of a
customer's production site become inoperable.
